Why donate to our shelter?

EVERY PENNY MAKES
A DIFFERENCE!

Did you know every year in the, U.S. millions of cats and dogs are euthanized because they are unable to find a forever home. Spot.com notes that 90% of euthanized animals in a shelter are adoptable with no major health problems. That is a pretty staggering statistic. Every year our "No-Kill" philosophy is successful in getting many animals adopted where they would otherwise unnecessarily lose their lives in other shelters.

Every Dollar Counts

Leesburg Humane Society's lifesaving work is only possible because of the support of animal-loving community members like you. We receive no government funding and exist only through public donations.

By making a donation, you directly help us:

  • Save homeless/abused/neglected pets

  • Prevent pet overpopulation through free spay/neuter where it’s needed most

  • Provide under-resourced communities with important spay/neuter, medical, behavioral and educational services

  • Raise awareness

  • Transform animal welfare by proving that our No Kill model works

Your donations go directly to helping homeless animals and maintaining a No Kill community.
